Weather & Venue Plan

808-Day is a rain-or-shine event! If August showers pop up, we immediately shift the party into Opal Hotel’s beautiful indoor nightclub. Rain or shine, the poolside fun moves indoors at 10 PM anyway to keep the energy going until 2 AM.

Full Bar & Dining

Keep the drinks flowing and your appetite satisfied without ever leaving the party. RAYN Pool Bar & Cafe will be fully operational, serving up a complete food menu and pouring cocktails all day and night.

Texas Hold 'Em Poker

We are teaming up with Prime Time Poker & MD Entertainment to host two live poker tournaments on the inside of the venue (Banquet Room). Whether you want to play in the day game or the night game, you can jump into the action with a $5 tip to the dealer to compete for the prize! 808 Day Pool Party FAQs

When and where is the 808 Day Pool Party?

The event takes place on Saturday, August 8th, from Noon to 2:00 AM at The Opal Hotel & Suites in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

What are the ticket options and prices?

Early-Bird & Pre-Sale Tickets are SOLD OUT. You can purchase GA/Door Tickets on the website for $30 (while they last). There are VIP Tickets available for $300 (includes admission for 4 + 1 bottle w/ mixers).

Note: Prices subject to change depending on availability.

Are there VIP packages available?

Yes, VIP / Bottle Services is available for $300. This package includes General Admission for up to 4 guests and 1 bottle with mixers, and a reserved seating area on the pool deck or inside (depending on the weather). Please note that VIP reserved sections are extremely limited. Prices do not include gratuity, 20%.

Who is playing at the event?

The elite DJ lineup is headlined by Atlanta’s Sporty-O performing an exclusive DJ set (1st in Florida). He will be joined by Xquizit DJ X, Whiskey Pete (Los Angeles, CA), Jimmy Joslin, iLL DJ Chris B, Kid Digital, Justin Faze, Tooltime, Matrix, MX, Supagroover, AfrodisiaX, Jrok, Puffington, Adam Flurk, and more.

What kind of entertainment will be there besides the music?

Prepare to be mesmerized by Rose Parker from HOOPZ, an expert aerialist, fire dancer, and Lollipop Lyra hoop dancer. She has performed at major festivals across Florida and will be bringing her captivating, fluid movements poolside for this event. There will also be a day and night poker tournament brought to you by Prime Time Poker & MD Entertainment. We’ve also teamed up with some great local sponsors and vendors that will be bringing their products/services to the event for all our of guests.

How does the poker tournament work?

We are teaming up with Prime Time Poker & MD Entertainment to host live Texas Hold ‘Em poker inside the venue (Banquet Room). There will be both a day game and a night game. Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely. The venue features the RAYN Pool Bar & Cafe, which includes a full-service bar and a complete restaurant menu that will be available throughout the entire event.

Can I book a room at the hotel?

Yes! The Opal Hotel offers incredibly affordable rates—running around just $60/night for a Pool View room! It’s the perfect excuse to skip the drive home, keep the party vibes going, and stay the night right by the action.

Is this event celebrating a specific occasion?

Yes, it’s our annual pool party for Shay’s Birthday. Every year the party has gotten bigger and bigger and it was time to move it to an larger venue for more fun! What should I wear?

Come ready to swim and celebrate! Swimwear, sunglasses, and your best summer poolside attire are highly recommended. This is a 14 Hour Event! It’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes as we transition from day to night, for maximum comfort.

What if it rains?

Don’t worry about the forecast! Should the weather take an unexpected turn and it begins to rain, we are fully prepared. We will smoothly move the party from the beautiful outdoor pool area right into the venue’s vibrant indoor nightclub, where the fun will continue uninterrupted. Everything moves inside at 10PM either way to keep the energy going until 2AM.
